How to reach Il Chiostro del Carmine

• By train:
The closest station is Siena, a 10 minute drive from Chiostro del Carmine.

• By car:
· Coming from Rome (South direction): Autostrada del Sole - Bettolle - Valdichiana exit in the direction of Siena.
· Coming from Florence (North direction): Autostrada del Sole - Firenze Impruneta exit. (from both motorway toll booths the city is served by a 4 lane bypass road). Once you leave the motorway, take the bypass road in the direction Siena-Firenze, take the Siena Ovest direction, then follow directions for Porta San Marco. Once at the gate (Porta), turn immediately left into Via del Nuovo Asilo, continue on Via Paolo Mascagni, and from here you have two options:

- Hotel private parking, paid:
from Via Paolo Mascagni, after approx. 50 metres turn right into a small square (municipal paid parking) and continue onto Via Ettore Bastianini. On your left at number 8 or 10 you'll find our car park, closed by a red and white electric bar. Just buzz and our staff will be happy to let you in. Continuing on foot in the same direction, to the end of Via Ettore Bastianini, then turning left, after a few metres on the left, at number 4, you'll find Il Chiostro del Carmine. It is important to let reception know your car registration when you check in, as they notify the local guards, which will allow you to transit, once a day, through the limited traffic area (ZTL) that surrounds our hotel, in order to reach the car park or the hotel itself during your stay.

- Luggage drop off and collection:
continue on to the end of Via Paolo Mascagni, turn right onto Via Pian dei Mantellini, follow this for approx. 100 metres then turn into Via della Diana, the first road on the right; at number 4 you'll find Il Chiostro del Carmine. You can drop off or collect your luggage and then decide where to park your car: in the private car park or the municipal one.
